Doubles under the lights
The floodlights come on for the first time this season, and the club marks it the way it always has: rotating mixed doubles on the hard courts, everyone in by half past six, nobody left standing on the sidelines for long.
Pairs are drawn on the night and rotated every couple of sets, so you can come on your own and still play the whole evening. All standards are welcome — the draw is deliberately mixed rather than seeded.
What to bring
A racket, indoor-suitable trainers and a warm layer for between matches. Balls are provided. The bar is open from six, and there will be something hot to eat once play finishes.
